Pop-Up Tournaments
One-day saltwater fishing tournaments taking place throughout the year, with a different target species each outing.
The tournament fishing dates are weather dependent, meaning the fishing weekend each outing is based on the weather, in a “Pop-Up” format, and the eligible species is selected on what’s biting that time of year. Past Pop-Ups have included a Blackfin Tuna Blitz in the spring, Snook Showdown in September, a Mahi & Mutton Madness and Bonita Bonanza in the summertime, the Poppin’ Sails Release Tournament in October and more!
These fun fishing tournaments are a great way to get involved in the WPBFC, and they’re free to club members, with cash awards for the top three fish for each eligible species. Each outing offers many creative ways to win and gives anglers a goal while fishing that weekend.
