These awards, some of which date back over 50 years, are highly coveted honors among club members and recognize outstanding angling achievements. Tracy Schneider Memorial TrophyPresented annually to the member scoring the highest total points for sailfish releases in Florida waters based on the following point values: caught and released on live bait (100 pts.), dead bait (300 pts.), pure artificial lures (500 pts.), and fly (1000 pts.).Alex HausmanAlex Hausman of North Palm Beach (right) took top honors in the Tracy M. Schneider Memorial Sailfish Release Trophy in 2024 with 2,900 points (26 releases on live bait, 1 on dead).Alexs catch while trolling dead bait was the difference maker in the competition, and would ultimately serve as the tie-breaker for the win.Beinecke Blue Marlin TrophyPresented annually to the member scoring the most points for blue marlin releases in the Bahamas (100 pts.) and Florida (300 pts.)A minimum of 300 points is required to win.Mark WodlingerLifetime club member Mark Wodlinger of Tequesta (left) won the 2024 Beinecke Atlantic Blue Marlin Release Trophy. Mark caught and released 4 blues in the Bahamas, racking up a total of 400 points. A well-seasoned billfisherman, this was not his first time winning this competition; he earned the Beinecke in 2021 as well.
